  • Hey Patriots! Our last theatre club meeting of 2009 is this coming Tuesday, December 15. Anyone wanting to participate in our white elephant gift exchange needs to attend for more info! The exchange will take place on Wednesday the 16th after school and the spending limit is $10. Let's finish this year with lots of fun and ideas for 2010!
  • Patriots don't forget that TODAY is the last day you can purchase the yearbook for 60.00 and have a chance to win an iPod so don’t delay!
  • This holiday season the journalism staff is helping with the Believe campaign. Macy's is sponsoring the Believe campaign for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a wish granting organization for kids with medical conditions. By a writing a letter to Santa, you can donate a dollar to the foundation. Bring any letters you would like to contribute to room B16 by Tuesday, December 15th.
  • Attention all baseball players. If you are a sophomore, junior or senior and played baseball in the program last year, the new Varsity Baseball Coach wants to meet you. Please come meet Coach Ebbert during your lunch TOMORROW. Coach Ebbert will meet you at the patriot statue in the mall during 1st or 2nd lunches. Please welcome the new coach. Everyone should bring a red ink pen. The pen should have red ink not just a red barrel. See you Tuesday!
  • The final National Honors Society meeting of the year will be today in Mr. Yard's classroom after school. Make sure you come!

Macy's is sponsoring the Believe campaign for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a wish granting organization for kids with medical conditions. By a writing a letter to Santa, you can donate a dollar to the foundation. Bring any letters you would like to contribute to room B16 TODAY.
  • Attention all baseball players. If you are a sophomore, junior or senior and played baseball in the program last year, the new Varsity Baseball Coach wants to meet you.   • Celebrate the season by attending the Winter Choir Concert tonight! It's at 7 p.m. in the auditorium and it features all 3 choirs and many of your friends singing special numbers. The concert is free.

  • The IHS Jazz Band is looking for members who play bass guitar and piano. We have a number of performances already set up for the second semester and look forward to making some great music. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Mr. Walton in the band room.

Pre-sale tickets are on sale at the bookstore before and after school and during your lunch. The tickets are $5.00. The show will promptly start at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Come support the IHS dancers!
  • The math club and journalism staff are collecting items for soldiers overseas who won't be home for the holiday season. Items can be brought to Ms. Eul, room R19, Ms. Cass, room B16 , or Ms. Milesic, room R15. Items will also be collected in the copy room. Hand sanitizer, soap, beef jerky, and shampoo/conditioner are the items needed. Thank you!
  • All girls Volleyball players please stop by Ms. Monaghan's room to pick up banquet information. That is room 217.

Whichever teacher gets the most ornaments by the week's end will be wearing a Santa outfit during Finals Week! You can pay to put ornaments on the tree, and even pay to take them off! Who do you want to see in the red coat and hat?

  • Your varsity boys’ basketball team defeated #5 ranked Sunrise Mountain Mustangs 70-53 it was a complete performance with great defense. Tonight we have another tough matchup against the Kellis Cougars. Game time is at 7pm. Hope to see you there!!

  • Hey Patriots! Congratulations to every single class; freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors for exceeding their food can goals. Senior class goal was 2,010, junior class goal was 1,111, sophomore class goal was 512, and last but not least freshmen class goal was 700. Awesome job patriots! Together we raised over 700 pounds of food and $700 for the needy!

  • Our 4th ranked patriots boys' basketball team takes on the 5th ranked Sunrise Mountain Mustangs Tuesday. Freshmen play at 4, JV at 5:30 and varsity at 7. Hope to see you there!!
